Bio
Michael Stebbins is a Classical and Musical Theatre Tenor from Charleston, South Carolina. He has competed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Classical and Musical Theatre competitions for the past 3 years and has become a National Semifinalist twice as well as Regional Qualifier three times. He also recently went on to become a National Semifinalist in the National Musical Theatre Competition, and competed in New York in January amongst 24 other Semifinalists. He is a current junior at Clemson University studying Performing Arts-Voice as well as Economics. While the two seem like an unlikely pair, Michael was actually an Economics major before beginning to study Voice at the college level. However, he has always had a passion for making music and for singing, in particular. His parents recount countless stories of a younger Michael belting out the latest One Direction song or Broadway ballad in the shower, gracing everybody attempting to sleep with his passion for song. His current course of study combines both Operatic and Musical Theatre styles of singing, and this is where Michael has found his ultimate passion.
